A number of scientist inquires suggest our universe may be one in a collection of other universe spreading through other dimension of time and space. Read Full Story to revealed the secret.
Although these ideas are speculative at the moment, the Large Hadron Collider in Switzerland is searching for evidence of multiple dimension. And ESA’s Plank satellite will be looking for the evidence of inflation. If either finds what it is looking for, the possibility of multiple universe will become stronger.
The new theory postulates that just after the creation of the universe, space energy that once they became were rather hard to stop. Not only did our universe grow, but so did countless others in a chain reaction that continues to this day.
These other universe would bud off from our own and be completely observable to endless cascade. The idea of multiple universe crops up again in theoretical efforts to understand why we exist. It also points to how the forces of nature are related to one another, suggesting that reality may consist of three that are familiar.
1. Infinite Universes
- Scientists can’t be sure what the shape of space-time is, but most likely, it’s flat and stretches out infinitely. But if space-time goes on forever, then it must start repeating at some point, because there are a finite number of ways particles can be arranged in space and time.
- So if you look far enough, you would encounter another version of you — in fact, infinite versions of you. Some of these twins will be doing exactly what you’re doing right now, while others will have worn a different sweater this morning, and still others will have made vastly different career and life choices.
2. Parallel Universes
- The idea comes from the possibility of many more dimensions to our world than the three of space and one of time that we know. In addition to our own three-dimensional “brane” of space, other three-dimensional branes may float in a higher-dimensional space.
“Out universe may live on one membrane, or “brane” that is parallel to many others containing their own universes, all floating in a higher-dimensional space.”

The multiverse is a theory in which our universe is not the only one, but states that many universes exist parallel to each other. These distinct universes within the multiverse theory are called parallel universes. A variety of different theories lend themselves to a multiverse viewpoint.
Not all physicists really believe that these universes exist. Even fewer believe that it would ever be possible to contact these parallel universes.
